Join us for a mesmerizing evening of chamber music as Trio Collage—featuring acclaimed musicians Iva Ugrcic on flute, James Waldo on cello, and Alyona Waldo on piano—takes the stage for a remarkable performance as guests for the “Live from the UWSOM” series and will be held at the Hamel Music Center.

The concert will showcase three exquisite works, each bringing its own unique charm and historical context:

• Carl Maria von Weber’s Trio for Flute, Cello, and Piano in G Minor, Op. 63 (1818/19): Experience the blend of classical refinement and early Romantic passion in this evocative trio.
• Mel Bonis’s Suite Orientale, Op. 48 (1900): Delight in the rich, exotic textures and vibrant rhythms of Bonis’s Oriental-inspired suite, a feast for the senses.
• Louise Farrenc’s Trio for Flute, Cello, and Piano, Op. 45 (1857): Revel in the sophisticated melodies and dynamic interplay of Farrenc’s masterful composition, showcasing her innovative contributions to the chamber music repertoire.
